This lighting setup offers unlimited creative possibilities, ideal for professional filmmakers and photographers. It utilizes the same chips from the Rotolight Titan cine lights, providing 16.7 million colours and 2,500 in-built digital filters. The distinct round design creates pleasing catchlights and soft wrapping, arriving as the world's first high-speed sync RGB flash system.

With a wide colour temperature range from 3000-10000 Kelvin, the AEOS II offers exceptional colour accuracy, allowing high-speed flashes of any of the 16.7 million colours. The colour array is complemented by a library of 2,500 digital filters from LEE and Rosco. The zero-recycle time ensures endless creative possibilities and access to Rotolight's award-winning suite of CineSFX adds transformative effects to your scenes.

The included colour filter library consists of 2,500 filters from LEE and Rosco. The zero-recycle time means you have endless creative possibilities at your disposal. Additionally, you have access to Rotolight's suite of CineSFX, including Fire, Lightning, TV, Gunshot, Paparazzi, and more, allowing you to transform your scene at a moment's notice.

Diffusion

The AEOS II's super-flexible color and brightness control are complemented by the included quick-release diffusion dome. This accessory allows you to effortlessly switch from hard to softer, more natural light using this intelligent softbox. Enhancing professional and creative light control, this attachment can electronically adjust your light's diffusion, focus, and spread without the need for gels. This can be controlled via the touchscreen display or Rotolight's companion app.

App Control

Adding to the versatility and ease of use of the AEOS II is Rotolight's companion app. This app allows you to wirelessly control the output, colour, intensity, flash power, and more of the light. You can create custom groups and projects for up to 20 lights, all at once, right from the palm of your hand. It's an efficiency tool that allows you to focus on orchestrating your scene rather than dealing with confusing controls. In the absence of the app, the Rotolight AEOS II has another trick up its sleeve.

Functionality

Several aspects of the AEOS II highlight its functionality, usability, and efficiency. Firstly, the menu system. Past Rotolight devices have had intuitive menus, but this model takes it up a notch, drawing inspiration from the likes of Rotolight's Titan professional lights with a highly efficient, industry-first full-colour touchscreen. This intuitive menu system is designed for effortless operation, allowing you to adjust and change settings with ease.

The build of the unit and its battery performance also contribute to its impressive functionality. The unit is incredibly lightweight, ultra-thin, and with its aluminium side handles, it's easy to move around your set and transport it to different locations.

Regarding battery life, the AEOS II sees much better performance than its predecessor. It yields superior output but at only 1/3rd the power draw of its closest rivals, offering 100,000 full-power flashes on a single battery.
