The SmallRig Rotating Side Handle with REC Trigger is designed to improve handheld comfort while giving you instant recording control directly from the grip. Featuring infinite 360° bi-directional rotation, this ergonomic handle adapts to any shooting angle, making it ideal for run-and-gun filmmaking, vlogging, and compact rig setups.

Compatible with selected Sony mirrorless, Canon EOS, and Blackmagic Design BMPCC cameras, it connects via NATO rail and integrates a REC trigger for fast, intuitive operation.

Comfortable Handling, Smarter Shooting

The contoured grip provides stable, fatigue-free handheld filming, while the integrated record button lets you start and stop recording without reaching for the camera body. Adjustable NATO clamp width (16–20mm) ensures a secure fit across a wide range of cages and rigs.

USB-C Fast Charging & Power Support

When used with NP-F550 / NP-F570 batteries (sold separately), the handle supports USB-C PD fast charging with up to 20W output, helping power compatible cameras during extended shoots.
(REC and power functions on Canon EOS and BMPCC cameras require NP-F batteries.)
