Designed for photographers who want maximum portability without sacrificing performance, the GTi is a powerful solution for wide-field imaging, telephoto astrophotography and lightweight visual observing.

Full Go-To, wireless control

Control the Star Adventurer GTi directly from your smartphone or tablet using the free SynScan App (iOS / Android), or connect an optional SynScan handset. Access 10,000+ celestial objects, enjoy guided tours, object identification and powerful alignment tools — all from an intuitive interface.

With selectable sidereal, solar and lunar tracking, the GTi keeps targets centred while you capture crisp, long-exposure images.

Built for precision & versatility

The GTi includes an illuminated polar scope for accurate alignment, plus interfaces for USB, ST-4 autoguiding, DSLR shutter control and SynScan handset connectivity. Dual counterweight positions allow easier balancing at low latitudes, while the robust 45mm dovetail saddle makes mounting easy.

With a 5kg payload capacity, it comfortably carries:

  • DSLR or mirrorless cameras with wide-angle to telephoto lenses

  • Small astrographs with dedicated astronomy cameras

  • Lightweight OTAs for visual observing

Portable, flexible mounting

Attach the mount to most photography or astronomy tripods using the standard 3/8" thread. For a complete portable system, the Star Adventurer GTi is also available with tripod and pier extension (product code 20327).
